It was released only like a year and a half after 3 and it added very little to the franchise.

Saints Row IV – This game kind of sucks, for real.

Though there are enough differences between SR2 and SR3 to where I'd say it's a necessary experience. The customization is almost better than SR3's but the graphics and clunky controls really will dampen your experience playing this. The PC port of this game is a nightmare though and is to be avoided at all costs. However it's a classic and it still holds up decently well as a coop game. Not to mention it's physics system is unbearable in the modern day. Saints Row 2 – Look Saints Row 2 is a really old and outdated video game that looks like total garbage graphically. My only issue with this game is that the story really sucks and usually when playing this game with a friend we just skip the cutscenes because they are boring and we don't care about the story at all. The vehicles and vehicle customization are both incredible.

The customization feels infinite, the graphics are really really good for a 2011 title, the coop is endlessly fun and there is SO much to do in this game. Saints Row The Third – This game kicks butt, I'd rate it as one of the best open world games of the 2010's if it weren't for some obvious contenders being out now. I'm making this because I heavily recommend anyone who is looking for coop games buy these titles as they allow for endless fun. Anyway, I thought I'd make this short little list of the Saints Row games ranked best to worst. But when you buddy up with a good friend online the games come ALIVE. As when you play these games alone, they kinda suck. I also like how it feels like the game was created for CO-OP play far more than for single player play. I really appreciate these games for essentially making an alternative, sillier Grand Theft Auto with insane amounts of customization options. I've been having an incredible time playing some of the old Saints Row games with my friend over LAN.
